Chelsea and Barcelona have reached an agreement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to join Chelsea, with Marcos Alonso moving the opposite way.

Early on, Townflex Sport reported that Chelsea and Barcelona were nearing an agreement to trade Aubameyang.
According to reports, Chelsea will pay around £10 million for the former Arsenal striker, plus Alonso.

With personal terms not anticipated to be an issue, Aubameyang has been given permission to fly to the UK for his medical and to finalize the agreement.

In a weekend attack on his home, Aubameyang sustained a slight jaw fracture.

The Gabon forward can start non-contact practice again the following week after a three-week anticipated layoff.

Aubameyang made a free transfer from Arsenal to Barcelona in January. His contract still had three years to run.

Aubameyang scored 79 goals for Thomas Tuchel in two seasons at Borussia Dortmund, despite the coach’s reluctance to discuss the player in public.

That collaboration came to an end when Dortmund fired Tuchel at the conclusion of the 2016/17 campaign.

Aubameyang then joined Arsenal in the winter transfer window of 2018 for a then-club-record £60 million, and he made an immediate impact with 10 league goals in just 12 starts.

His goal percentage did, however, gradually deteriorate over the course of four campaigns, which led to his removal as club captain for disciplinary reasons. He then left the club by mutual consent six weeks later and joined the Spanish giants.

The announcement of Aubameyang didn’t arrive from the club until far into the early hours of Friday morning after the deadline had passed. Chelsea, now has a verified new number 9!a

I’m really happy,” Aubameyang said.

It’s an honour to be part of this team and I can’t wait to start. I have some unfinished business with the Premier League so it’s good to be back and really exciting.

“I’m feeling very good, I’m very proud. [The Chelsea shirt] fits me well! (laughs).”
