Popular Nigerian actor, and politician, Yul Edochie, offers tips to young people on how to “avoid police harassment on road” when driving.

This piece of new educative information from the actor comes following Singer BNXN’s altercation with Police Operatives on Wednesday in Lagos.

And it would be recalled that the singer who took to Twitter in narrating his encounter with the Police disclosed that it got heated and that he was forced to even spit on the officer which is now becoming a difficult problem for him as he is likely to be sanctioned for assaulting a police offer of the law.

The actor cited himself as an example. Yul said that he frequently takes road trips, but added that he has never once found himself at the mercy of the police or being harassed only because of his level-headed and modest demeanor.

How to avoid police harassment on roads: He again went on to advise his fellow citizens (youths) to put aside attitude, and rather embrace humility as that is the only way to attract a good relationship between themselves and the police.

“I do road trips a lot, I’ve met so many policemen on the road & they’ve never harassed me before. The secret is humility.

“All that ‘don’t you know me’ attitude, keep it aside. You’re a citizen just like everyone else. Once you humble yourself na policemen go hail you pass,” the movie star said.
