Abdul Baba Rahman, the left-back for Ghana, is healing nicely from an emergency injury he sustained during a PAOK game on Wednesday.

In the Greek Cup semi-final matchup between Panathinaikos and Chelsea, the former Chelsea defender stumbled and fell to the ground.

According to reports, in the 115th minute of the match, Rahman collided with an opponent and lost consciousness.

Thankfully, the medical team’s prompt action on the pitch resulted in his resuscitation.

The left-back received quick attention and was then transported by ambulance to the hospital for additional assessment and care.

Though the game was played in a dismal atmosphere and ended in a penalty shootout with Panathinaikos winning 6-5, Rahman’s recuperation is going well.

Rahman gave a status update on his condition and thanked everyone for their kind words and concerns in a statement posted on social media.
