Barcelona Set to sign Brazilian Winger Raphinha

The Blaugrana’s are the latest club to show interest in Brazilian and Leeds United winger Raphinha, the club have been in contact with his agent over a possible summer deal. However, the player is reportedly keen on a move to the Camp Nou.

The Brazilian and the Premier League attacker is a versatile player who can play on both sides and would be a great replacement for Ousmane Dembele and also be the player that will get the club over Erling Haaland.

According to Sport, Xavi is backing the move as a priority and keen to land the Brazilian in the summer to strengthening their squad to compete with rivals Real Madrid.

Marca reporting that the Premier League side Leeds United want at least €40m for the Brazilian winger although Barcelona are said to have made an initial offer of €35 million.

Raphinha Ready for Next Step in Spain

Brazilian winger Raphinha has been a revolution since joining Leeds United from French club Rennes in 2020 for €20 million. The 25-year-old has scored 15 goals and been a part of 12 more in the 57 games.

Despite Leeds United’s struggled in its second season back in the top flight but however, that hasn’t stopped clubs from keeping an eye on the skillful winger after proving himself at Premier League level netting nine goals in 28 appearances this season.

The former Rennes winger has cemented himself as a regular starter for Brazilian national team this season with seven appearances and scoring three goals since his debut against Venezuela on October 7, 2021.

The Yorkshire club have reportedly been trying to get a new contract sorted with the player in order to likely capitalize as much as possible on the interest shown from other clubs but he denied and keen to move to Spain.
