Sergio Busquets 33, has been at Barcelona since 2005 and made his senior debut for the club at first-team level in 2008.

The Spaniard, who has made more than 600 appearances for the Spanish outfit, is a well-known favourite of City boss Pep Guardiola.

The pair enjoyed stunning success together, winning countless trophies, including the Champions League title that Pep craves at City.

City could be keen on landing a new central defensive-midfielder next summer with Fernandinho’s contract set to come to an end at the end of this season.

Sergio Busquets who won MVP of Nations League could become the latest big name to leave Barcelona, amid their diabolical financial situation at the moment.

However, while Busquets is a big name in football and certainly a stunning footballer, City fans on Twitter are not so happy and sure about him.

His age, plus the fact City already have Rodri, means some are sceptical. Fans believed Busquet isn’t the player for them at the moment.
