Despite the long list of great performing players this season, the Onze d’Or award went to Real Madrid Star, Karim Benzema.

The award is presented to the Best Player in Europe. With Benzema’s achievements, he won the award.

The 33 year old has been prolific in front of goal for Real Madrid this season. With the combination of a good result and a stroke of luck, his team can go on to lift the La Liga title this weekend.

Following his high improvement in form, he has also been called to the French squad for the first time in six years for the European Championship. He was also awarded the best French player overseas.
