The nominations for the next BET Hip Hop Awards 2022 have been officially published by the organizers, and as you are already aware, Townflex is here to present you with the complete list of contenders.

BET revealed the nominations for the 17th annual BET Hip Hop Awards 2022 on Monday, September 12, recognizing the past year in hip hop music across 17 categories.

The BET Hip Hop Awards are an annual awards show, airing on BET, showcasing hip hop performers, producers, and music video directors. The awards ceremony began in 2006.

Drake, a Canadian rapper, singer, and actor born Aubrey Drake Graham, leads the pack with 14 nominations, making him the artist with the most nods.

Kanye West comes in second with ten nominations, including Hip Hop Artist of the Year, while Kendrick Lamar gets nine nominations in total. Rapper Future receives eight nominations, while Baby Keem, Cardi B, and J. Cole each received six.

The “BET HIP HOP AWARDS” 2022 will be hosted by Grammy®-nominated recording artist, actor, and entrepreneur, Fat Joe, live from the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, GA, on Friday, September 30 and will premiere Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at 9 PM ET/PT on BET.

BET Hip Hop Awards 2022 Nominations: Budding Ghanaian rapper and singer, Black Sherif also got his name appearing for the first time as he also got nominations in the Best International Flow category as he will be battling it out with 8 other artists from across the world.

Other notable nominations include Doja Cat, Latto, Lil Durk, Tems, and Young Thug, each of whom received three nominations. Benny The Butcher, City Girls, Fivio Foreign, Glorilla, Jay-Z, Megan Thee Stallion, Nas, and Usher received two nominations each.
