A Beverly Hills doctor is facing serious charges after being accused of drugging and sexually assaulting an employee.
Dr. Babak Hajhosseini, founder of the Wound and Burn Centers of America, was arrested on November 26, 2024, by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).
The charges stem from an incident in which he allegedly enticed a female employee to his residence, where she was drugged and sexually assaulted while unconscious.
According to the LAPD, Hajhosseini offered the employee overtime pay and pressured her into drinking an alcoholic beverage that caused her to pass out.
Police claim that while she was unconscious, Hajhosseini sexually assaulted her and recorded the attack. The doctor has been charged with multiple counts, including rape by use of drugs and oral copulation of an unconscious person.

Although Hajhosseini has pleaded not guilty to the charges, police are investigating the possibility of other victims and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
The 42-year-old physician, who also worked as a visiting doctor on Catalina Island, was released on bail shortly after his arrest but was later indicted by a grand jury on December 23.
Hajhosseini’s attorney, Caleb Mason, has vigorously denied the allegations, calling them “false” and “salacious.”
Mason pointed to the fact that Hajhosseini voluntarily took a polygraph test, which he passed, and maintained that the charges would be fully contested in court.
As the investigation continues, LAPD detectives are urging other potential victims to step forward. Hajhosseini is scheduled to appear in court for further proceedings, and the case remains under investigation.
