Controversial Ghanaian entertainment pundit, Bulldog claims that Black Sherif’s newly released studio album will do better than Shatta Wale, and Sarkdoei’s forthcoming album.
Bullgod born with his legal name as Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson made this known on Thursday, during an interview with Doreen Avio on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz.
Bullgod’s point makes sense in a way, he was not really trying to downgrade the likes of Sarkodie as well as Shatta Wale, he was only speaking based on some calculations he made.
Empire Entertainment signed rapper Black Sherif on Thursday, October 5th, 2022, and released his first official studio album dubbed “The Villain I Never Was”, a 14-tracks musical project which has already started performing well in the market barely a day after its release.
Meanwhile, the likes of Shatta Wale and Sarkodie are also expected to drop their own albums in a few days’ time.
According to Bullgod, Blcko’s album will perform better in the market than Sark and Wale and that theirs can not compete with The Villain I Never Was album.
Giving support for his claims, the entertainment expert said that while Black Sherif has a record deal with Empire Entertainment and would be able to increase his exposure on digital and music streaming services with their assistance, Sarkodie and Shatta Wale are not signed to any record labels.
He added that Sherif has the numbers in terms of streams and fanbase to overcome and that it will only take a miracle for Sark and Wale to surpass Sherif’s project.
Additionally, he warned entertainment critics and enthusiasts not to disparage other musicians simply because one is outperforming the others.
In few days time Ghanaians will be having aside Blacko’s new album, Shatta Wale’s G.O.G Album comes out on Monday, October 17th, 2022. JAMZ album by Sarkodie is also scheduled for release on Friday, November 11, 2022, Wendy Shay, is also about to her her EP titled Enigma’ on Friday, October 21.
