A man in Maryland was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) as authorities continue to search for his girlfriend, 23-year-old Lesbia Mileth Ramirez Guerra, who was last seen on March 31.
The Charles County Sheriff’s Office is investigating Guerra’s disappearance, with her boyfriend—who has not been named—reporting her missing on April 2.
Guerra, a resident of Waldorf, Maryland, was living with her boyfriend, who is the father of her two children. During their investigation, detectives discovered “unusual and suspicious activity” at the home on the day Guerra vanished, prompting the belief that foul play may be involved.

While a search of Guerra’s home did not turn up any signs of her, investigators did find what appeared to be counterfeit federal documents belonging to her boyfriend.
Further checks revealed that he was in the U.S. illegally, prompting ICE to intervene and take him into custody.
In addition to the search for Guerra, detectives have identified a red Toyota 4Runner, owned by Guerra’s family, which was at the residence on the day she disappeared. Investigators believe it could be linked to her disappearance.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about Guerra’s whereabouts or the red Toyota 4Runner to come forward. The investigation remains ongoing.
