Emma Heming Willis, the wife of the well-known actor Bruce Willis, recently appealed to the paparazzi to refrain from excessively following her husband and shouting at him while he goes about his daily activities.

Bruce Willis is widely recognized as one of the biggest movie stars of his generation, and as a result, the press often tail him closely in the hope of capturing a lucrative shot that can be used for a story.

Bruce Willis, who was diagnosed with aphasia in March 2022 and had retired from acting, unfortunately, experienced a progression of his condition to dementia in February of this year. In an effort to raise awareness, his wife is now addressing photographers and videographers.

Over the weekend, Heming made an emotional appeal to the paparazzi via a video posted on her official and verified Instagram account. In the video, she disclosed that “there’s still a lot of education that needs to be put forth” about people living with dementia.

Emma said in her video ; “So this one is going out to the photographers and the video people that are trying to get those exclusives of my husband out and about: Just keep your space. I know this is your job, but maybe just keep your space.

“For the video people, please don’t be yelling at my husband asking him how he’s doing or whatever — the ‘woohoo’-ing and the ‘yippee ki yays’… just don’t do it. OK? Give him his space. Allow for our family or whoever’s with him that day to be able to get him from point A to point B safely.”

Emma Willis also asked in her caption: ” To other caregivers or dementia care specialist navigating this world… Any tips or advice on how to get your loved ones out in the world safely?”
