Burna Boy Gets Nominated for Grammy Awards 2021

Nigerian singer, songwriter, rapper, and dancer, born with the legal name Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy in the entertainment world has been nominated for the 2021 Grammy Awards.

The album dubbed ‘Twice As Tall’ by the Nigerian star, grabbed him a nomination in the Best Global Music Album category at the 2021 Grammy Awards scheduled to hold on January 31st, 2021.

Burna Boy is making his second nomination appearance in the said category twice in a role, after his album, “African Giant” made it to the 2020 edition, the 62nd annual Grammy Awards but couldnt win, he lost to four-time Grammy award winner Angelique Kidjo.

Burna Boy’s Twice As Tall album will be competing with “Fu Chronicles” by Antibalas, “Agora” by Bebel Gilberto, Anoushka Shankar’s “Love Letters”, and then “Amadjar” by Tinariwen in the 63rd annual Grammy Awards.

The 63rd Annual Grammy Awards will be broadcast on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021, on the CBS Television Network at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. The Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony will be streamed live on GRAMMY.com at 3:00 p.m. ET / 12:00 p.m. PT.”
