Burna Boy Takes His Grammy Plaque To The Club in a new video which popped up online.
Popular Nigerian musical artiste, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, known professionally as Burna Boy who just won his first Grammy Awards recently has taken his plaque to the club and uses it to drink.
The self-acclaimed African Giant, Burna Boy emerged as the winner of the Best Global Music Album category in this year’s Grammy Awards 2021 which held in March with his Twice As Tall Album.
And in our previous post, we shared with you photos and video as Burna Boy finally received his plaque for winning Grammy Awards just a few days ago. Burna after setting his eyes on the plaque just can’t hide his joy as he just can’t afford to take his eyes off it.
Well, In a new video making rounds on social media, the Nigerian singer, and songwriter was spotted in a club last night with his Grammy Awards Plaque.
In the video, Burna boy decided to use the plaque in place of a class as he used it to sip some champaign in a very joyful mood.
Burna Boy Takes His Grammy Plaque To The Club: This action by the singer has brought about mixed reactions on social media as some fans cheered him while others also bashed him, referring to him as arrogant, watch the video below.
Burna Boy’s album competed with “Fu Chronicles” by Antibalas, “Agora” by Bebel Gilberto, Anoushka Shankar’s “Love Letters”, and then “Amadjar” by Tinariwen in the 63rd annual Grammy Awards
Back in 2019, was nominated in the same category Best Global Music Album which was formerly called ‘Best World Music Album’ with his African Giant Album, which was his first Grammy nomination but lost to Angelique Kidjo during the awards ceremony in 2020 which she dedicated to him for his hardworks.
