Angola Cables, a global provider of network services and digital solutions, is teaming up with Camtel, Cameroon’s primary telecommunications operator, to enhance digital and connectivity offerings in Cameroon and the broader West Africa region.

This collaboration stems from a mutual desire to explore business opportunities in West Africa and the Atlantic area, with a focus on improving redundancy, network resilience, and service quality both domestically and internationally.

Leveraging Angola Cables’ extensive subsea cable infrastructure (SACS, WACS, and Monet) and robust backhaul network, along with Camtel’s South Atlantic Inter Link (SAIL), companies and organizations will gain expanded capacity options and improved access to West Africa’s local and regional networks through Angola Cables and Camtel’s Points of Presence (PoPs).
