Captain Smart has been released after spending the night in GREDA Estate cells.

Following the duo’s detention despite being granted bail yesterday, many were led to assume they spent the night at the National Security building.

After spending about three hours in the National Security Office, they went on a nighttime tour of roughly five different police stations.

According to our sources, the several stations they visited were unwilling to hold them until they were able to get a spot at the GREDA Estates Police Station in Teshie.

To complete the bail requirements, the fourth surety’s residence was needed to be verified.

Meanwhile, the investigator who was meant to conduct the verification of the residence, Eric Osei, said he didn’t have a car to get to the location.

Despite the fact that Media General established provisions to make the process easier National Security, however, opposed the process and requested that the fourth surety be modified.
