American rapper Cardi B has thrown her support behind Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic Party’s presidential candidate for the upcoming United States elections

The rapper’s endorsement comes on the heels of Biden’s announcement on Sunday, where he officially resigned from his candidacy and threw his support behind his vice president, Kamala Harris.
In reaction, the rapper in a post on her X handle, wrote: : “Aha hahaha let’s go! I told y’all Kamala [Harris] was supposed to be the 2024 candidate… Stop f*ckin playing with me!” Her candid and fiery endorsement underscores her belief in Harris’s leadership and vision for the country.

Back in May, Cardi B had shared with Rolling Stone that she was disillusioned with the choices for the November election.
She expressed her dissatisfaction with both President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, citing profound disappointments in Biden’s handling of both domestic and international issues.
She previously viewed Trump as a significant threat but has since felt that Biden’s tenure has brought “layers and layers of disappointment.”
