An 18-year-old woman was the victim of a horrific attack on Christmas Day, prompting an urgent search by Warwickshire Police for a man seen wearing a yellow backpack.
The alleged incident took place in the early hours of December 25th, between 1:00 a.m. and 3:30 a.m., in Leamington Spa town center.
The woman, wearing a white coat at the time, was reportedly assaulted, and police have since released CCTV images of a person they believe may hold crucial information related to the case.
The suspect, seen in a purple shirt and dark jacket, could be key to the investigation, officers said.

Authorities are asking the public for help identifying the man and have urged anyone with information or relevant footage from CCTV or dashcams in the area of Parade, Clarendon Avenue, Beauchamp Road, Beauchamp Avenue, or Kenilworth Road between midnight and 4 a.m. to come forward.
They also believe some passers-by may have assisted the victim at the time, making it crucial for witnesses to step forward.
Detective Constable Bury, leading the investigation, emphasized the importance of immediate tips from the public to help solve the case.
