Popular Nigerian, actress, Chacha Eke Faani has announced that she is no longer interested in continuing the marriage between herself and her husband, actor, Austin Faani as she seeks divorce.

The actress made this known by taking to her social media page, Instagram to make the announcement.

The announcement caused mixed reactions on social media due to her choice of words, and also it serves as the second time the thespian is announcing something of this sort.

It would be recalled that some years back, in 2020, Chacha announced that she will not be able to continue in her marriage to her Nollywood movie producer husband, alerting her that the marriage is causing her more harm and disclosing she is a victim of domestic violence, meaning she gets beatings from his hubby always, but a few days later she made a u-turn saying all what she said should be disregarded and continued with the marriage.

Well, the new development confirmed all that she said back then was all true.

The actress, who married Mr. Faani in June 2013 in Asaba, Delta State, took to her Instagram account on Monday and made a post that she is splitting from the marriage due to physical abuse.

According to her statement, it is better that she leaves while she is still alive and breathing or leaving as a corpse.

The 34-year-old actress also apologized to the public for living a lie all these past years she appeared as if all was but but instead there was trouble in paradise.

part of her statement reads; “For the 2nd time in 2years, I am here again on social media boldly declaring that I am done with my marriage. My long overdue/relentless stance on this is of course no news to Austin Faani, the doctors and my parents.”

She also disclosed that should something happen to her all of a sudden, she has documented her destimonials in recorded video/clips/statements which will be released on social media for her attorney (lawyers), the welfare department and the Nigerian police force to do what is needful to be done.

“LEAVE NOW ALIVE OR LEAVE AS A CORPSE ⚰️

“Many have died pretending all is well whilst wishing, hoping and praying for a better tomorrow.

“I don’t want to “die” or go inexplicably “missing”.

“I sincerely and publicly apologize for living a lie these past years.True to random speculations, there has been trouble in my “perceived paradise”.

“For the 2nd time in 2years, I am here again on social media boldly declaring that I am done with my marriage. My long overdue/relentless stance on this is of course no news to Austin Faani, the doctors and my parents.

“If push comes to shove & suddenly i am incommunicado; my lawyers, the welfare department and the Nigerian police force have my testimonials in recorded video clips/statements set for public release on all social media apps and national newspapers.
