A Chinese businesswoman living in Ghana has expressed frustration over the frequent and unpredictable price hikes in the country, highlighting the challenges faced by entrepreneurs.

According to her, the cost of goods in Ghana fluctuates on a daily basis, making it extremely difficult for businesses to plan and manage operations effectively.

In stark contrast, the businesswoman shared that in China, the prices of products and services can remain stable for years, sometimes even a decade.

“In China, prices of many items remain unchanged for 10 years or more. But here in Ghana, the price of the same item can change every single day,” she said, adding that this constant price fluctuation adds immense pressure on business owners.
