A Chinese man identified with his name, ‘Afei‘ popularly known as Soldier, has shot an eight-year-old boy has been shot at Apradan in the Kwahu West Municipality of the Eastern Region.
According to reports, the incident occurred at around 8:00 am on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
In Starr Fm’s post, the mother of the victim, Sarah Padiki, speaking to Obrempong Kweku Ampomah of Agoo Fm News, his son was just playing behind the residence of the Chinese with a couple of friends which was all she but heard a gunshot all of a sudden fired from the house.

Upon rushing and reaching the scene, she found his son bleeding, she tried her best to rinse the blood with clean water, and with the help of some residents, they rushed him to the Holy Family Hospital, Nkawkaw.
“We don’t have any problem with the Chinese. We live in harmony with them. They play with my son and even send him on errands, so I don’t know why and how this could happen like that,” she said.
Mr. Narteh Benjamin, who is the uncle of the victim has however called on the government to see to it and ensure that justice is served in this case.
The Police have however begun investigation into the matter.
