According to reports, the IRS and the state of California have issued Chris Brown with a hefty $4 million tax bill and demand that he pay it immediately.

According to tax records obtained by Distractify, Breezy owes $4 million in past taxes, and since last year, numerous tax liens have been filed against him, focusing on his properties and enterprises.

The IRS filed two federal tax liens against Brown last year for $2,245,561.50 and $1,059,967.78. The R&B star also allegedly owes $739,067.48 to the state of California, bringing his grand total to $4,044,596.76.

The federal and state governments will step in to collect if Brown doesn’t pay the enormous money right away. The documents indicate that if Breezy doesn’t pay up, his Tarzana, California estate and other businesses will be the first to disappear.

The lawsuit comes after Breezy flaunted his huge wardrobe on Instagram, showing off hundreds of things from a “department store” full of clothing.

The musician dropped a bag at the birthday celebration of his youngest daughter earlier in January, which also prompted the complaint.

The proud parents celebrated the milestone on January 8 in a series of Instagram posts by both Brown and Diamond, the mother of his daughter. The posts featured a Winter Wonderland theme. Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely” provided the soundtrack as the cake was being served.

His 8-year-old daughter Royalty, whom he has with Nia Guzman, and his 3-year-old son Aeko Catori, whom he welcomed with his ex-Ammika Harris, were also present.

In terms of brand-new music, right before Christmas, Breezy pleasantly surprised fans with a sneak peek of a brand-new, unheard tune with a Michael Jackson sample.

In an Instagram post, the singer shared a two-minute-long snippet of the Hitmaka-produced song, titled “Transparency, but revealed he hasn’t been able to release the song due to the sampling of Jackson’s “The Lady In My Life.”

“I know y’all been on me bout dis one ….,” Brown wrote. “(We couldn’t clear the sample and we felt it took away from the song if that music wasn’t there ) everybody and they momma ask me bout this damn song.”

The singer’s last album, Breezy, arrived in June 2022 and debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 after earning 72,000 album-equivalent units in its first week.
