The tragic death of Salome Adaidu, a young woman reportedly murdered by her gospel singer boyfriend, Timileyin Ajayi, has left a community in mourning.
The incident occurred in Agwan Sarki, Orozo, a community near the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nasarawa State, over the weekend.
Ajayi, who is also a self-styled motivational speaker on TikTok, was apprehended after being found with the severed head of Adaidu, concealed in a polythene bag.
Authorities acted on an intelligence tip-off that led security operatives to an uncompleted building, where the gruesome scene unfolded, and Ajayi was arrested.
The murder, which took place on Sunday, January 12, shocked the local community.
During his interrogation, Ajayi reportedly confessed to the crime, stating that he had been in a relationship with Adaidu for about a year before allegedly killing her.
