Ghana’s President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has fulfilled the promise made by the Government to pay for the full cost of the surgery of Conjoined twins.
The full payment of GH¢14,394,397.58 was made today, Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Greater Accra Regional Hospital (Ridge Hospital).
This was made know to the public through a Facebook post made by Mr. Eugene Arhin, the Director of Communications at the Presidency.

According to him, the president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo through the Chief of Staff, Hon. Akosua Frema Osei-Opare made the full payment for the cost of operation and also the purchase of surgical equipment for the surgery of the conjoined twins at the Greater Accra Regional Hospital.
Now that the full cost of the payment for the operation has been covered by the President, we look forward to hearing good news as we await the process to get started.
The procedure is however expected to commence in the second week of September 2021.
