American rapper Coolio dead at 59

American rapper, and actor, Coolio has been pronounced dead.

The rapper died on Wednesday, September 28th, 2022, while on a visit at a friend’s place where he passed away in Los Angeles.

The rapper was at a friend’s house in Los Angeles when he excused himself to use the restroom, according to Coolio’s longtime manager, Jarez, who spoke to the publication.

They waited for long, and he never came out, they called for him but got no response from him either so they forced entry into the restroom and found him lying on the floor.

According to TMZ’s reports, Law enforcement personnels after being called upon arrived at the Los Angeles residence of his friend at around 4pm for medical emergency but as they arrived they found him dead.

The law enforcement officials told TMZ that no drugs or drug paraphernalia were found at the scene of Coolio’s death.

As it stands, there is no information in regards to what the cause of death is. We will have to wait for an autopsy and toxicology test to be carried on to determine what caused his sudden death.

He died aged 59.

Coolio, whose full name is Artis Leon Ivey Jr., started out in the Los Angeles rap scene in the late 1980s, but he gained national attention in 1995 when he recorded “Gangsta’s Paradise” for the soundtrack of the Michelle Pfeiffer movie “Dangerous Minds.”
