Coronavirus: Ghana Finally Closes Its Borders To All Human Traffics For Two Weeks (Air, Sea, Land)

Coronavirus Ghana Closes Borders To help fight the spread of the deadly COVID-19 spread.

President of the republic of Ghana in Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has announced additional measures which includes closure of the country’s borders to help curb fir the deadly Coronavirus pandemic.

It is better late than never, the president made this announcement yesterday night, Saturday, March 21 2020, in his 3rd Address To The Nation speech.

The president stated that all of Ghana’s borders be it by “Sea, Land or Air” will be closed to human traffic for the next two weeks starting from midnight on Sunday, March 22nd, 2020.

He also added that closure of Ghana’s borders will not apply to goods, supplies and cargo.

“Anybody who comes into the country, before midnight on Sunday, will be mandatorily quarantined and tested for the virus. This closure will not apply to goods, supplies and cargo” – he said.
