Cristina Serra, wife of Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, has finally addressed the public following the couple’s shock split after 30 years of marriage.
The separation, which made headlines last week, has left fans and media alike speculating about the reasons behind their unexpected breakup.
Recently, Serra was seen shopping alone in Barcelona, just days after the news broke. She was approached by a Spanish reporter in the city center, where she appeared to be in good spirits.
When asked how she was doing, the 50-year-old mother of three responded with a bright smile, saying, “Perfecta, gracias” — which translates to “Perfect, thanks.”
She assured the reporter that “everything’s fine” when asked further about her well-being.
However, when questioned about the reasons behind her split from the football manager, particularly regarding his decision to extend his contract with Manchester City for two more years, Serra chose not to comment. She politely ended the conversation with a “Thank you” before entering a clothing store.

The details of their breakup were first reported by respected Spanish journalists Lorena Vazquez and Laura Fa, also known as the Mamarazzis, who shared the news at the start of the week.
Later, they discussed in a podcast that Cristina had reached her breaking point after Pep’s decision to stay in Manchester, extending his contract until 2027, contrary to previous intentions to leave Britain.
The couple had reportedly been facing tensions related to this major career decision.
Though Cristina has remained mostly silent on the matter, her calm demeanor suggests she is maintaining a private stance on the emotional issue.
