Ghanaian gospel musician, Diana Antwi Hamilton has been awarded the Artiste Of The Year Award at the just ended 2021 edition of the Adonko Ghana Music Awards-USA.
GMA-USA is an award designed to celebrate and honour Ghanaian entertainers in and outside the country and aims to extend the reach of the Ghanaian music industry at home and abroad.
The 2021 version of the award show, themed Adonko Ghana Music Awards USA 2021 marks the second edition after it commenced in 2020. The ceremony came off on Saturday, August 21st.
The powerful gospel songstress, Diana Hamilton got nominated into 5 categories (Artiste Of The Year, Gospel Song of the Year, Gospel Artiste of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, and Most Popular Song of the Year) and took home wins for three out of the 5 categories.

Aside from winning the prestigious Artiste of The Year Award at GMA-USA, she also won other two categories Gospel Song of the Year, and the Gospel Artiste of the Year awards.

On the night, Mr. Drew won New Artist of the Year, ‘Behind the Scenes’ by Kofi Kinaata won the Highlife Song of the Year, KiDi took home award for Afropop Artist of the Year, Adina’s Why song also picked up the award for Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year, Stonebwoy won Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year, while Amerado won the Best Hiplife/Hip Hop Artist of the Year award.
