Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a serious legal battle after being sued by Bryana “Bana” Bongolan, who claims he sexually assaulted her and dangled her over the edge of a 17-story balcony in 2016.
The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, accuses the music mogul of sexual battery and false imprisonment, with Bongolan seeking $10 million in damages.
According to court documents, the alleged incident occurred during a late-night visit to the Los Angeles apartment of Diddy’s then-girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura. Bongolan, who was also present, claims that Diddy groped her without consent.
When she resisted, he allegedly became violent, holding her over the balcony railing. Bongolan says she was eventually pulled back to safety but then slammed into patio furniture, including a table.

Diddy’s legal team has vehemently denied the allegations. In a statement, his representatives called the claims “baseless” and expressed confidence that they would be proven false in court.
“Mr. Combs firmly denies these serious allegations and remains confident they will ultimately be proven baseless,” the statement read.
“He has unwavering faith in the facts and in the fairness of the judicial process. In court, the truth will come to light, demonstrating that the claims against Mr. Combs are without merit.”
This lawsuit comes at a time when Diddy is facing other legal issues. He is currently in custody at MDC Brooklyn, with a judge denying his fourth bail request earlier this week.
The court ruled that releasing Diddy would pose a potential risk to community safety. His trial is set for May 2025.
As the legal proceedings unfold, this high-profile case is drawing significant attention, adding to the ongoing controversies surrounding the music mogul.
