Rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs Faces New Lawsuit for Alleged Sex Trafficking and Assault

The hip-hop world is once again in turmoil as American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs finds himself embroiled in yet another legal battle.

The latest lawsuit, filed in Manhattan on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, accuses the music mogul of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and a slew of other allegations.

This time, the charges are brought forth by former adult-film star Adria English, who claims Diddy hired her to work as a “go-go dancer” at a party in 2004 before allegedly involving her in more sinister activities.

Adria English asserts that her initial hiring as a go-go dancer was just the beginning of a much darker experience. She alleges that at subsequent parties, her drinks were laced with narcotics, leading to situations where she was coerced into having sex with guests.

One notable guest named in the lawsuit is celebrity jeweler Jacob “the Jeweler” Arabo. The lawsuit also implicates several of Diddy’s enterprises, two media companies, a woman accused of facilitating the sex trafficking, and two unnamed individuals.

Sean Combs, who is also known by his stage name Puff Daddy, has categorically denied the accusations. Through his attorney, Combs stated, “No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone.”

The attorney further emphasized the importance of the judicial process in uncovering the truth, expressing confidence that Combs will prevail against these allegations in court.

“We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason and without any proof.

“Fortunately, a fair and impartial judicial process exists to find the truth and Mr Combs is confident he will prevail against these and other baseless claims in court.” his lawyer added.

The new lawsuit brings the total number of legal claims against Sean Combs to nine since November 2023. This wave of lawsuits has painted a troubling picture of the hip-hop icon, who has faced multiple allegations of sexual misconduct.

In March armed agents entered Combs’ sprawling luxury properties in Miami and Los Angeles, a heavily publicized bicoastal operation that suggested an investigation into the rapper is underway.

Disturbing surveillance video emerged in May showing Combs physically assaulting his then-girlfriend Casandra Ventura, corroborating allegations she made in a now-settled lawsuit late last year.

Ventura sued Combs in federal court last fall, a bombshell suit that was settled out of court but succeeded by a string of similarly lurid sexual assault claims against the hip-hop star.

Combs has vehemently denied all accusations against him.
