Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is once again seeking bail while awaiting his trial, filing a new motion on Friday, November 9.

This latest attempt argues that other defendants facing similar charges have been granted bail, despite Diddy’s previous requests being denied.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Diddy’s defense team has proposed a $50 million bond, along with round-the-clock surveillance, to ensure that he does not flee or intimidate witnesses before his trial.

The motion highlights other cases where individuals facing comparable charges were granted bail with significantly smaller bond amounts.

Diddy’s legal team argues that these disparities in bail decisions warrant reconsideration of their client’s case.

However, despite the motion, Diddy remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn.

In September, his previous bail requests were rejected, with the judge ruling that the government had shown he poses a danger to the public.

The music mogul faces federal charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. His trial is set for May 2024.

As his legal team pushes for his release, many are watching closely to see how the court will respond to these latest developments.
