U.S. President Donald Trump has revealed plans to dismiss thousands of White House staff members who he claims are not aligned with his “Make America Great Again” vision.
In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump disclosed that his Presidential Personnel Office is already in the process of identifying and removing over a thousand appointees from the previous administration.
In the post, Trump wrote, “Our first day in the White House is not over yet! My Presidential Personnel Office is actively in the process of identifying and removing over a thousand Presidential Appointees from the previous Administration, who are not aligned with our vision to Make America Great Again.”
He also publicly fired four high-profile individuals, saying, “Let this serve as Official Notice of Dismissal for these 4 individuals, with many more coming soon.”
The individuals named included Jose Andres from the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition, General Mark Milley from the National Infrastructure Advisory Council, Brian Hook from the Wilson Center for Scholars, and Keisha Lance Bottoms from the President’s Export Council. “YOU’RE FIRED!” Trump added in the post.

One of the most notable dismissals was that of General Mark Milley, who had served as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff under President Biden.
Milley’s removal comes just after President Joe Biden, in his final moments in the Oval Office, granted him blanket protection—an act that Trump publicly condemned.
Trump had previously expressed strong disapproval of Milley and even called for his execution.
In addition to these firings, John Bass, the acting undersecretary for political affairs, was also asked to step down.

Bass had significant influence in regions such as Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, making his departure another notable change in the White House structure.
This unprecedented shakeup signals a shift in Trump’s administration as he moves forward with his agenda, reshaping the government with individuals who share his vision.
