Donny Van de Beek who joined Man United from Ajax for £35 million has failed to break into the first team at Old Trafford and Netherlands national team.

According to reports, Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek has been offered to Newcastle United and Borussia Dortmund.

The former Ajax midfielder has started just four Premier League games since in September 2020, he’s struggled to make an impact under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer or Ralf Rangnick this season.

Van de Beek four games in all competitions came last season, three in the Champions League and the Carabao Cup defeat to West Ham United.

According to Manchester Evening News, Donny Van de Beek is open to leaving Man United this month and Bundesliga giants Dortmund and the newly-minted Newcastle have both been spoken to about their interest in a short-term switch.

Newcastle are still in the market after signing Kieran Trippier and Chris Wood as they look to ensure Premier League survival after their Saudi-backed takeover.

Signing the 24 year old Dutch midfielder would add qualities to the midfield as they look to compete with the top teams.

Dortmund are chasing Bayern Munich for the Bundesliga title and tend to focus their transfer spending on quality and cheaper, younger players, but Van de Beek may offer a short-term improvement to the squad.

The Red Devils have been linked with Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria, with the club’s sporting director Max Eberls admitting they may consider letting the player go this month.
