After placing a $565,000 wager on Tyson Fury to defeat Oleksandr Usyk, Canadian musician Drake has lost the money.

This is the musician’s second significant gambling loss. Drake announced his $565,000 stake on Fury on Instagram prior to the fight.

Drake would have received slightly more than $1 million if Fury had won. Usyk, on the other hand, defeated Fury via split decision in Saudi Arabia to become the first undisputed heavyweight boxing champion in a quarter of a century.

In addition to Fury’s World Boxing Association (WBA), World Boxing Federation (IBF), and World Boxing Organisation (WBO) belts, Usyk gained Fury’s World Boxing Council (WBC) title with this victory.

This defeat comes after other high-stakes wagers that did not turn out well for Drake. Following Anthony Joshua’s knockout victory over Francis Ngannou and Dricus Du Plessis’s victory over Sean Strickland at UFC 297, he lost a substantial amount of money.
