With just three days to go until the highly anticipated 2024 general elections, the political landscape is heating up.

To that effect, we has compiled a comprehensive list of constituencies across the country that are expected to be strongholds for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), based on historical voting patterns, current political dynamics, and predictions from experts.

The Ashanti Region, the NPP’s historic stronghold, is expected to deliver 42 constituencies to the party.

Some of the key constituencies in this region include Adansi Asokwa, Bantama, Ejisu, and Suame, all of which have traditionally supported the NPP.

In the Eastern Region, 25 constituencies are projected to favor the NPP, including prominent constituencies like Abirem, Kade, and New Juaben South.

These areas are known for their consistent backing of the NPP in previous elections, and they are likely to follow suit in 2024.

The Greater Accra Region, with 14 constituencies, is another key area for the NPP.

Constituencies such as Adenta, Madina, and Ayawaso West Wuogon are expected to remain under the party’s influence due to their urban and suburban demographics, which tend to lean toward NPP policies.

The Western Region, with 13 constituencies, is also seen as a strong region for the NPP. Constituencies like Sekondi, Takoradi, and Shama are expected to deliver key victories for the party.

Similarly, the Northern Region, with 9 constituencies, will likely favor the NPP, including Bimbilla and Yendi.

In the Bono Region, 7 constituencies, including Berekum East and Sunyani East, are expected to vote NPP, while the Ahafo Region’s 6 constituencies are also on the party’s radar.

Other regions, such as Western North and Central Region, with constituencies like Assin Central and Cape Coast North, are also likely to lean toward the NPP.
