President Buhari has lost 100,000 followers on Twitter and he may lose more as some Nigerians intensified pressure on him to disband the obnoxious Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad(FSARS).
Many Nigerians, has since Thursday embarked on a nationwide protest dubbed “EndSars”, which is to help put a stop to the Polic Brutality cases facing the country.
This protest has been ongoing for days now, it went far to the extent that people from other countries also had to join in with their voices.
Nigerians are so disappointed in their President, Buhari, blaming him for not doing what is due of him as a president in his mandate to put a stop to the brutality, he seem to be trying his best, but the citizens of the land sees his efforts as not helping.
One Mr Reno Omokri, an activist took to his verified Twitter account yesterday, October 10th, 2020, and decided to teach both the Nigerian president and his vice-president a lesson, see what he posted below.
“Dear Nigerians, If we all mean business with this #EndSARS movement, let’s send a strong message to General
@MBuhari. He has 3.5 million followers. If we all stop following him and he sees his Twitter following drop by 1 million, he will sit up. Who is with me? Let’s go there” – he wrote.
As at the time of the above post by Reno, the president had over 3.5 million twitter followers but few hour after the first post, reno returned with a new post which confirmed that his plans were working as followers of the President, dropped over a 100,000.
