Fameye has revealed how the outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus respiratory disease has affected his music business and also hints about an upcoming virtual concert plus album release.
Fameye is a Ghanaian rapper, singer and songwriter from Bogoso born with the legal name “Peter Famiyeh Bozah”.
The singer was on ShowBiz Agenda show on Zylofon 102.1 FM, Thursday morning hosted by Sammy Baah Felx.

Sammy asked him if he has been affected by the Covid-19 outbreak, pushing us to a period where Artistes are no more billed to perform on shows, and also travel outside to play gigs.

The Notin I Get crooner replied that yes he has been affected, that even before the outbreak, he had some gigs to play outside the country, one which he was paid for but had no choice than to refund the money to the organizers due to the restrictions put in place to help curb the disease globally, including social distancing protocols and restrictions on flights.
He also added that just he also had his own Tour planned and was supposed to come off last month in the United States but it couldn’t work out.
This COVID-19 pandemic is very bad for business, Since in Ghana here, aside from being featured on a project by a fellow artiste and also getting online streams from digital distribution platforms, most of our acts make more earnings from their creative works by relying on playing shows both in and outside the country.
According to the Peter Fameye, his source of income from his creative works during this period of CoronaVirus is by doing features. Adding that even with the featuring, when it is with a top artiste he doesn’t make much from it, he hold Sammy Flex.
The artiste has proven he is a good act during his few years of being active / present in the industry, he has built for himself a loyal fan base who are ready to put in their all to support him any day. And aside that, the young champ has be well hailed for always releasing inspirational and relatable songs.
Fameye also told the host, that he has plans of hosing his own virtual concert which is likely to come off next Month in August. And he will be joining the likes of Shatta Wale, Samini and Efya to host their own virtual concerts, Sarkodie and Wendy Shay also have theirs coming up soon.
The former OGB Records signed rapper / singer also hinted that he has a suprise album on the way coming which he will not like to talk more on for now. Watch video below.
