Singer and rapper, Fameye has hinted that he will postpone the release of his new “Greater Than album” due to the Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale Asaase Sound Clash.

The Asaase Sound Clash between two top Ghanaian artsite, Shatta Wale and his other brother Stonebwoy is scheduled to be live and aired, tomorrow, Saturday September 12th, 2020. And has been the talks of the town as fans have been in anticipation to see who wins this live musical battle.

I was listening to Hitz FM this morning, to the DaybreakHitz showbiz show hosted by Andy Dosty and one of my favourites acts in Ghana, the 2020 VGMA’s New Artiste Of The Year winner, Fameye was on for and interview.

Listening to the interview, the singer who is celebrating his birthday today together with his brothers; Quamina MP and Tulenkey was supposed to release his upcoming studio album titled ‘Greater Than’ today, Friday, September 11th but changed his mind. The album launch will still come off today though but released later.

After having a long talk with his management team they decided on postponing the album release due to the fact that Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale’s Assase Sound Clash was coming up Suturday, September 12th with the idea that it might be to loud to over shadow the release.

There has been a single already released from the album a week ago titled 247 featuring lynx entertainment artiste KiDi

This issue of the release has caused a long of issue and arguments on social media already with the fans, insisting the he better release the song and beleive in himself and his work as well as industry players poured in their messages telling him he can make it if his team comes out with a better promo strategies.

Well, as at now there is a new and an ongoing poll on social media by Hitz FM with fans voting to it as to whether he should release it or not, well let’s see how the poll ends, we promise to get you updated when the result is ready with a final decision.
