In a shocking and tragic incident, Toyin Bamidele, a Higher National Diploma student of Food Technology at the Federal Polytechnic, Offa, Kwara State, was brutally hacked to death in her rented apartment outside the campus on Thursday, November 16.

The news of her untimely demise has left the polytechnic community in disbelief, prompting swift condemnation from the institution’s management.

Mrs. Folake Oyinloye, the acting head of the Public Relations Unit, confirmed the incident in a statement expressing deep sorrow and condemning the inhumane act.
