Fourth FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Official soundtrack Releases ‘light the sky’

FIFA which is the international governing body of association football has released a new version of its multi-song soundtrack for the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar titled ‘Light The Sky’.

‘Light The Sky’ is however the fourth released soundtrack so far coming as the follow-up to the previously released global hits ‘Hayya Hayya‘ (Better Together), ‘Arhbo‘ and The ‘World is Yours to Take‘ soundtracks,

The newly released soundtrack was officially released on Friday, October 7, 2022, available on Youtube as well as all music streaming platforms.

It features four of Arab world’s most famous female performers in the likes of Iraq singer and actress, Rahma Riad, Nora Fatehi, who is a Moroccan-Canadian actress, model, dancer, singer, and producer. United Arab Emirates’s singer and actress, Balqees, Moroccan pop singer-songwriter, Manal Benchlikha, Moroccan-Swedish singer, songwriter, record producer and record executive, entrepreneur who goes by the name RedOne as well as choreographer Sadeck Waff.

The FIFA Sound strategy is bringing together artists, fans, and players to share their passion through the multi-song Official Soundtrack, which combines the common languages of music and football.

The song’s atmospheric and edgy music video also acknowledges the groundbreaking inclusion of female referees at the first-ever FIFA World Cup tournament in the Middle East by featuring all six officials who will officiate at the tournament.

Stéphanie Frappart of France, Salima Mukansanga of Rwanda, and Yoshimi Yamashita of Japan will oversee matches in Qatar, with Neuza Back of Brazil, Karen Daz Medina of Mexico, and Kathryn Nesbitt of the United States serving as assistant referees.
