A 16-year old final-year female student of the Miracle Senior High School at Barkoniaba located in the Sunyani municipality of the Bono Region is said to have committed suicide.
The student who is identified as Leticia Kyere Pinaman according to reports was found dead, hanging at the school’s dining hall by her colleagues at around 9:45 pm yesterday, Monday May 17, 2021, while the rest of her colleagues were at the church auditorium for bible studies.
Well, what actually caused this action is yet to be known but according to information gathered so far, a note found on the deceased read “THERE IS SOO MUCH SORROW AND PAIN IN MY HEART“.

The Housemistress, Gifty Acheampong, is reported to have said in an interview that she was at the kitchen working on food for the students when she heard of the incident.
“I heard the students shouting, so I rushed there and saw her hanging. I quickly rushed to the church auditorium to call the proprietor and the proprietress,” she said.
Meanwhile, the Sunyani Municipal police have conveyed the body and deposited it at a morgue in the Sunyani Regional Hospital for autopsy and preservation.
