Popular Ghanaian teacher, Teacher Kwadwo has been summoned by the Disciplinary Committee of the Akrofuom District Education Directorate over alleged “professional misconducts”.
According to an Invitation letter served to him sighted on social media by Townflex, the professional teacher who is born with his legal name as Michael Owusu Afriyie, is to appear before the committee on Tuesday, today, August 10, 2021, at Akrofuom District Assembly Hall at 11:00 am.
Recall that the teacher was in the news some times back as he decided to hold a campaign with the motive that reforms are made to the Ghana Education Service and its operations.

Just around the moment the #FIXTHECOUNTRY demo started, Teacher Kwadwo also came out with his own, #FIXGES, and according to him as a teacher, he is of the view that the sector needs a lot more attention to be able to deliver maximum impact.
He also revealed in the video below that since the introduction of the new curriculum, GES has not brought out textbooks to help. and that’s some of the reasons why he is demanding reforms.
He added that looking at what teachers and students are going through motivated him to bring out the #FIXGES agenda, he also released a song to back his agender,
