A tragic incident unfolded in Poinciana, Florida, where a 14-year-old girl, Giselle Glover, died after her mother allegedly drowned her in a bathtub.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, the horrifying events began when deputies responded to an “armed disturbance” call at the family home on November 20, 2024.
When law enforcement arrived, they discovered Kelsey Glover, 35, attempting to strike another woman with a hammer while she tried to intervene and protect Giselle.
Officers managed to disarm Glover and stop the immediate danger, but it was soon revealed that Giselle, who had been upstairs in the bathroom, was unresponsive.

Witnesses informed deputies that they had seen Glover holding her daughter’s head underwater in the bathtub.
Efforts to stop the attack were unsuccessful, and shortly after, Glover reportedly chased the witnesses around the house with the hammer.
Giselle was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.
The sheriff’s office has launched a homicide investigation, awaiting a report from the medical examiner to determine the exact cause of death.
Kelsey Glover is currently facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and battery, though more charges are expected to follow once the investigation is complete.
The sheriff’s department has noted that Glover has been uncooperative with investigators thus far.
