Information reaching Townflex has it that Floyd Joy Mayweather Jr. who is an American professional boxing promoter and former professional boxer after hanging his gloves has taken them back on as he is returning to the rings to fight again.
The 45-year-old former five-weight world champion has been in retirement ever since beating MMA superstar Conor McGregor in 2017 and still keeping his record clean with a total of 50 fights with 0 losses, 50 wins for all fights.
it seems his break is over as he is about to fight another fight which is scheduled to come off on Saturday, May 14, 2022, where he will be facing Don Moore in Dubai.
This was announced during a media event on Thursday, April 7 held in the Press Room of the Gabriel Miami Downtown Hotel.
Floyd “Money” Mayweather still is regarded as legend as he remains undefeated with (50-0, 27 KOs) ready to face also undefeated “Dangerous” Don Moore who also has (18-0-1, 12 KOs).
The upcoming boxing exhibition is dubbed ‘The Global Titan Fight Series‘, and it is said to feature former UFC champion Anderson Silva, who will take on Bruno Machado, as well as a former world champion in two weight classes, Badou Jack.
“I am always trying to push the envelope and if something is brought to my attention that has a unique aspect to it, I am always interested. Having a fight on the helipad of the Burj Al Arab Hotel in Dubai and the opportunity to be the star of the show is going to be something I will remember always. People all over the world can buy the PPV and watch us fight high above, almost in the sky.” said Mayweather.
“I am excited to participate in this event. Because of how much of the same training I received from Roger Mayweather, I am gonna be able to give Floyd real problems. I have been training hard to show everyone what ‘Dangerous’ Don Moore is all about and expose Floyd’s weaknesses. This is my shot, The time is now, Floyd isn’t invincible. Anyone can be beaten.” said Moore.
