Rapper French Montana trolls Cristiano Ronaldo on Instagram After Morocco’s World Cup victory

French Montana took to Instagram on Saturday to congratulate Morocco's soccer team on reaching the World Cup semifinals, and the rapper didn't hesitate to poke fun at soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo in his post.

Moroccan-American rapper, French Montana made fun of Portuguese star, Cristiano Ronaldo on Instagram after Morocco’s win over Portugal and qualifying for the semi-finals of the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup Tournament in Qatar.

On Saturday, December 10, Morocco created a new record by being the first African country to reach the World Cup Semi-Finals; they played against Ronaldo’s Portugal in the Quarter-Final stage yesterday and won by a goal to zero (1-0).

The rapper, who is extremely patriotic of his nation, Morocco, took to his official and verified Instagram account after the game on Saturday to congratulate the team for their historic record and also fon making Africa proud.

French Montana born with his legal name Karim Kharbouch in his congratulatory message also mentioned Ronaldo, saying “Ronaldo u had your time g … it’s Morocco time.” with a photo showing Moroccans on top of lions as the heroes which also featured Ronaldo and also Pepe below.

He wrote;

“🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦 LEGENDARY ON ANOTHER LEVELLLLLL HAMDULILLAH 🔥 FIRST AFRICAN TEAM TO EVER MAKE THE SEMI FINALS !! 🇲🇦 Ronaldo u had your time g … it’s Morocco time lol.”

In another post, he wrote “🇲🇦 RONALDOO 😂😆AIRPORT THIS WAY 👉🏻👉🏻”.

Ronaldo who was hoping for a win but instead lost to morocco was captured in videos and photos making rounds on social media and the internet space as he was seen crying.

Morocco will now face France on Wednesday, December 14, for their semi-final game, and the result of the game will determine whether they will be meeting Argentina or Croatia for the next leg.

The Lions of Morocco made their first World Cup appearance in 1970, and their previous-best finish was reaching the Round of 16 in 1986, when the team lost to West Germany.
