GES postpones reopening date of SHS 1 students

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has in a newly released press statement announced that the reopening date for all SHS 3 students {both gold and green track) has been postponed to May 5th, 2021.

The SHS 3 students according to the original plan were supposed to report to school today, Tuesday, April 6th, 202,1 and be in school until 28th May 2021 where they will then be will be going for a vacation from May 28th to 29th June 2021.

According to GES, this is to give the form 3 students an uninterrupted institutional period till they write their final examination.

This new arrangement simply means that the SHS 3 students, who are the final year students waiting to write WASSCE will therefore return to school on May 5th, 2021, and will remain in the school till they are done writing their final year exam (WASSCE).
