The organizers of the annually held GMA UK (Ghana Music Awards UK) have finally released the complete list of nominees for this year’s 2022 edition.
The 2022 Ghana Music Awards UK Nominees which happens to be the 6th edition were announced on Friday, July 1, at the Omanye Hall, Labadi Beach Hotel.
The awards ceremony is however scheduled to come off on Saturday, October 29, 2022.

The artistes of the year category which is the most prestigious will be a thought one looking at the artistes who have been nominated.
The 2022 Ghana Music Awards UK artistes Of the year Category is made up of 9 artistes who will be competing for the ultimate from genres including Rap/Hiplie/Hip Hop to Gospel, and also Afro Beats/Highlife, and not forgetting dancehall.
The artistes to compete includes the likes of Kwaku The Traveller hit singer Black Sherif, Legacy Life Entertainment artiste King Promise, from the stables of Lynx Entertainment we have KiDi, and Kuami Eugene, highlife singer Akwaboah, gospel singers Celestine Donkor, and Diana Hamilton, the Sakcess music boss Sarkodie, and Stonebwoy, the president of Bhim Nation

The Ghana Music Awards UK is an annual event put together by MR NII OFORI TACKIE-TETTEH and EMMELIO TETTEH, who own Alordia Promotions & West Coast UK respectively.
The Ghana Music Awards UK is largely a people’s choice awards scheme that seeks to champion and expand the development of the Ghanaian music industry both home and abroad, into an international market for global recognition of Ghanaian creative works.
The scheme is established to create an open market for collaboration, sales, new music trends, cultural exchanges, marketing opportunities and several benefits to be accessed by Ghanaian musicians in the United Kingdom.
