The Ghana Police service has reacted to the alleged gunshot attack on Ghanaian dancehall recording artiste Shatta Wale.
For few hours now, news came in widely spreading on major news publication outlets online that the dancehall recording artiste has been shot by unknown gunmen at East Legon just as we published earlier HERE.
Well, Ghana Police Service has in a statement released via their official and verified Facebook account reacted to the news.

According to GPS, they have launched investigation into the matter including making contacts with some of his close friends and family members of the musician with they all claiming not not to have knowledge about his whereabout nor the alleged shooting incident.
According to the Polic, they also went to the house of the celebrated dancehall star but they were not able to find him there as well.
They have however put out their hotlines pleading with citizens while they continue investigation to contact to help provide them with information concerning the whereabouts of Shatta Wale should they come across any helpful gist wthat can help.
Ghana Police wrote;
“The attention of the Police has been drawn to the widely circulated news on the alleged gunshot-attack on one Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale.
“On hearing the news, the police have launched an investigation into the matter including making contacts with some of his close friends and family members and all of them claim not to have knowledge of his whereabouts or the alleged incident.
“A team has visited the house of Shatta Wale and he cannot be found there.
“Over the last few hours, the Police have searched and continue to look for Shatta Wale at hospitals in Accra.
“Whilst we continue our investigations, the Police is appealing to the public to provide any information concerning the whereabouts of Shatta Wale to the numbers 18555, 191 and 0302773906″.
