After a long Covid-19 break, Schools in Ghana will return to full begin academic works mid-January 2021.
Earlier in our previous post, we shared that President Akufo-Addo will be meeting with the cabinet on Wednesday, December 30th, 2020, to make a final decision on the reopening of schools.
According to a new post made by Graphic Online, a source has revealed the result of Wednesday’s meeting with cabinet chaired by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
The source revealed that the reopening of the schools in the country will be happening mid-January, even though the exact date for the resumption isn’t known, the source told Graphic that it could be any date from 12th to 19th January.
Well, let’s all keep our fingers crossed to see what happens next, it will maybe announced by the president in his next Address to the Nation.
President Akufo-Addo on March 15, announced the closure of all schools in the country beginning March 16, along with a ban on public gatherings when Ghana confirmed her first two positive Covid-19 cases.
