Gwyneth Paltrow has officially sold her longtime Los Angeles mansion for $22 million, a significant drop from its initial listing price of $29.99 million in May 2024.
The actress first reduced the asking price to $24 million in October 2024 before striking a deal with an unnamed buyer.
Despite selling the property for less than expected, Paltrow still made a substantial profit, having purchased the Brentwood home for $9.95 million in 2012 with her ex-husband, Chris Martin.
The 8,000-square-foot home, located in the Mandeville Canyon area of Brentwood, was threatened by the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, but it was largely spared.

The house features six bedrooms, a chef’s kitchen, a spacious family room with bookshelves, and French doors that open to a tranquil garden.
A guesthouse, added in 2022, offers an office, gym, wine cellar, movie theater, and game room.

The property, set on two-thirds of an acre, is known for its high level of privacy, thanks to tall hedges and mature trees that surround it.
Paltrow, now an empty nester with her children Apple and Moses both grown, had recently completed a new home in Montecito.
The sale of the Brentwood property marks a shift in her living situation, as she plans to divide her time between her homes in Montecito, New York, and possibly another Los Angeles property.

The decision to sell was influenced by her changing family dynamic, including Moses’ graduation from high school.
While the property was unaffected by the January 2025 wildfires, Paltrow had previously pledged $2 million to aid in the fire relief efforts.
