Organizers of the annually held Headies just announced the complete list of winners in the just-ended 2022 edition.

The Headies is the top Nigerian/Pan African awards show, celebrating the best in Afrobeats, African music, and culture. The awards, originally called the Hip Hop World Awards, was established in 2006 by the Hip Hop World Magazine of Nigeria to recognize outstanding achievements in the Nigerian music industry.

The Headies 2022 was the 15th edition of Nigerian music awards The Headies. It held at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, United States on 4th September 2022. Wizkid lead nominations with ten, Tems and Ayra Starr with eight each. Davido and Adekunle received seven each.

Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, FireBoyDML, Adekunle Gold, Davido, Flavour, Kcee, Buju, Lojay, Goya Menor, Cohbams, 2Baba, Joeboy, Rugier, Olamide, and Asake were among the performers.

Chris Brown beats the likes of Justin Bieber, Beyoncé, Drake, Ed Sheeran, and Nas to win the international artiste of the year category, A category designed for non-African artists or groups with outstanding achievements and impact on Afrobeats.
